Executive Team

Gary Tenkman

As Chief Executive Officer, Gary is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the company, then oversees the implementation and progress of those plans. In his role, Gary works closely with the executive management team to ensure the operational delivery of Ultimus’ client centric services and solutions.
Prior to joining Ultimus, Gary was head of North American Operations at another large fund service provider where he was responsible for service delivery for all clients in the region. During his 16 years there, he had increasing responsibilities in several different leadership positions including areas such as alternative investment fund services, European fund services, and U.S. fund services. He is an experienced leader in the fund services industry responsible for growing businesses, leading teams, operating model design and implementation, product development, relationship management and regulator interaction. Prior to that, Gary was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young responsible for the investment management practice in the Ohio Valley area.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive). He joined Ultimus in 2014 and has been in the financial services industry since 1990.

As CEO of Ultimus LeverPoint, David oversees all financial, service and administrative systems for the Private Fund Administration side of the business. David has a long and varied career in financial management, including roles as Vice President of Finance & Operations at the Ayco Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs and as Vice President of Finance & Controller and Vice President of Strategic Planning at KB Toys.
In addition, David’s work experience includes financial roles in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) and Namic Corporation and several years working in foreign currency options with Noonan, Astley and Pearce. During his career, David has also co-founded Finning Builders, LLC, a real estate development company and Central Block, LLC, an investment company whose primary purpose is to acquire, hold and manage investments.
A Certified Public Accountant since 1995, David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Lafayette College and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Union College.

As Executive Vice President & COO, Evan oversees the day to day operations of the Ultimus LeverPoint Private Fund Solutions group. He also works closely with the management team on strategic initiatives and provides technical accounting guidance to the fund accounting team.
Evan co-founded Woodfield Fund Administration, LLC in 2005. He was instrumental in growing Woodfield from a start-up firm with three employees to a widely recognized private fund administration firm.
Prior to co-founding Woodfield in 2005, Evan served as Chief Financial Officer of a registered investment adviser which managed four hedge fund of funds. Prior to that, he was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young in Dallas, where he was responsible for the oversight of the annual audits of more than forty private fund clients.
Evan is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and California (Inactive). He has been in the financial services industry since 1994.

As EVP, Client Relationship Officer for Ultimus LeverPoint, Kelly Ramsey Gooch is responsible for developing relationship management strategy for Ultimus LeverPoint’s private fund business and leading day-to-day relationship management efforts for our clients.
Kelly joined Ultimus LeverPoint in October 2020 bringing with her 25 years of experience in client-facing roles within the registered and private fund administration business. Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Kelly worked for a global financial services business and was focused on developing and maintaining satisfaction for a substantial portfolio of strategic alternative asset management clients. In addition to relationship management, Kelly’s experience includes fund administration, operations management, investor services, project management, business development, and client implementations.
Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey and her Masters of Science degree in Leadership from Duquesne University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership.

As EVP, Chief Business Development Officer at Ultimus LeverPoint, Krista currently oversees all Business Development and Marketing initiatives across Ultimus LeverPoint. She has a comprehensive knowledge of all matters relating to the organization with a specific focus toward identifying new clients and driving business growth. Krista also works in tandem with the CEO and COO on the daily operations of Ultimus LeverPoint, working to create business development plans and implement processes to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Krista has over 20 years of experience servicing the financial and accounting industries, and continues to work directly with many Fund Managers on both the Private Equity and related Management Companies teams.
Krista joined The Ayco Company in 2000 as the Director of Business Management, where she was part of the preexisting team that was spun out of The Ayco Company L.P., a Goldman Sachs subsidiary, to form Ultimus LeverPoint in 2007. Krista has worked diligently to grow Ultimus LeverPoint’s extensive client base, as well as building the foundation for expectations for Fund Administrators.
Krista is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Siena College in New York.

Gary Harris

As Executive Vice President, Head of Sales, Gary is responsible for developing the sales and market strategy across the organization and managing the execution of that strategy across the various market segments for the entire suite of Ultimus solutions.
Prior to joining Ultimus, Gary was Senior Vice President and National Sales director at two other large fund service providers where he was responsible for developing and managing their business development efforts. With over 30 years of experience in the asset servicing industry, Gary has consistently developed and managed sales teams focused on delivering outsourced front, middle and back office solutions across both traditional and alternative asset management firms.
Gary is a graduate of Youngstown State University. He joined Ultimus in 2019 and has been in the financial services industry since 1990.

Michael Neborak

As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Michael is responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, overseeing capital allocation and capital markets activities, driving cash flow performance, managing relationships with investors, debt holders and rating agencies, assessing risks and opportunities, and leading teams from both finance and corporate accounting.
With a tenure of more than 30 years in the financial services industry, he brings a wealth of relevant financial, operational and strategic experience to Ultimus including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and finance transformation. Michael joined Ultimus in 2020 and currently works in the Hauppauge, New York office.
He previously served in many executive and CFO roles throughout his career including with First Data Corporation, Willis Group Holdings plc, MSCI Inc., and Citigroup Alternative Investments. He also worked at Solomon Smith Barney in the Investment Banking Division in increasing roles of responsibility, and began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lafayette College and an MBA from New York University.

As EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, Heather is responsible for all strategic and operational HR functions across all business lines. As a member of the executive management team, she works closely with the leadership group to align and strengthen the link between people and strategy.
Prior to joining Ultimus, Heather gained extensive experience working in various positions of increasing responsibility at rapid growth portfolio companies in the IT, Apparel and HR specialty industries. This broad spectrum of past employment brings the perspectives and exposure necessary to facilitate developing leaders and empowering employees.
Heather is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and holds her Senior Professional Human Resources certification. She is also a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati and is avidly involved in the community. In her personal time, Heather enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and three young children.

Jason Stevens

Jason is responsible for overseeing technology at Ultimus, including infrastructure, security, application development and data.
Prior to joining Ultimus, Jason was the head of a large service provider’s global securities and fund services application development and support team. There he managed a group of over 50 technology professionals supporting technology solutions for multiple global business lines including fund services, middle office, hedge and private equity fund services. Jason held numerous other roles of increasing responsibility in both fund accounting and information technology during his career at several large service providers in the financial services industry.
Jason received a B.S. in Finance from Bryant University in Providence, Rhode Island and his MBA from Boston University. He has extensive experience in fund servicing, both in operations and technology. Jason joined Ultimus in August 2015 and has been in the financial services industry since 1999.

Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint in June 2008 Brad worked at SaxBST, a regional accounting firm. In his role there he provided auditing and assurance services to several public companies and government agencies.
Brad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.

Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Christopher worked at SS&C where he was a Vice President in both the Hedge Fund Services and Private Equity Administration departments overseeing several large client relationships.

Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Natasha gained extensive experience working in various positions of increasing responsibility in Distribution and Non-Profit. Natasha holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from The College of Saint Rose.

Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Donna was a Vice President at Woodfield Fund Administration. She has 19 years of experience in financial services roles including over 12 years as a founding member and finance and compliance executive for two private equity firms. She has expertise in launching new private funds and in all aspects of Fund, General Partner and Management Company finance, accounting, compliance and operations management.

Rick joined Ultimus LeverPoint in 2008, and has over 25 years of tax experience, including over 10 years of public accounting, primarily with Arthur Andersen in Washington, D.C. where he sat as a Senior Manager and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he sat as a Tax Director. Rick’s financial services experience also includes advising public and private corporations and closely held entities in Washington, D.C. for a number of years, providing tax services, due diligence, M&A, general consulting and compliance to a large private equity/venture capital conglomerate.
Prior to his public accounting years, Rick was with General Electric Company for nearly 10 years starting out in Corporate Finance and moving into Corporate Tax. Rick was selected to go through a number of GE’s young leadership and management training programs.

Andrew works closely with the executive team to provide a client-focused approach and collaborates with other industry professionals to provide a diverse network of solutions for Ultimus clients. He works in the Chicago, Illinois office.
Before joining Ultimus, Andrew worked as Senior Vice President at Woodfield Fund Administration, LLC, where he was responsible for the development of new business, marketing, client relations, and implementations. He also served as head of Investor Services, overseeing the day-to-day operational functions for hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and other clients.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, and Marketing from the University of Iowa, and has been working in the financial services industry since 2007.

Britt Averett is the Private Funds Relationship Manager for Ultimus LeverPoint Private Funds Solutions. She is responsible for maintaining key client relationships under the Private Fund Services umbrella, and for directly servicing Hedge and Alternative Funds. Britt has worked on the Adviser Services, Relationship Management team for the Gemini Companies (now Ultimus) for 10 years, and currently works in the Hauppauge, New York office.
Before her current role, Britt served as Assistant Vice President for Ivy Asset Management in the Client Development department for more than 10 years. While there, she was responsible for maintaining high net worth individual clients and for supporting RIA offices in the Fund of Hedge Fund space.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, and has been working in the financial services industry for almost 25 years.

Josh is currently the Director, IT Services at Ultimus LeverPoint, and has been with the firm since 2011 when he joined, bringing with him 14 years of IT experience. As the Director, Josh focuses on upgrading the firms network infrastructure and leads driving the enhancement of information security, disaster recovery, and incident response plan initiatives.
Prior to Ultimus LeverPoint, Josh worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for a period of 14 years, where he was responsible for the administration of all IT duties, including support to two local offices, as well as a remote office in western New York. Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Plymouth State University.
When not at work, Josh likes to spend as much time outside as possible, whether it is mowing the lawn, or exploring one of the nearby lakes with his family on their boat.

Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Chris worked in financial services for Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments where he provided back office processing and support for the full-service broker dealer.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Siena College and obtained his Master’s Degree in Accounting from The College of Saint Rose. Chris is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
Outside the office, Chris loves to stay busy traveling, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends. In the summers, you can find him one of two places, relaxing on a beach or enjoying himself at the racetrack.

As a Fund Team Senior Manager, Tyler is responsible for his team providing fund administration services to private equity funds. This includes financial reporting, overseeing the day-to-day operations, as well as maintaining relationships with his clients. He serves as a resource to both his own team and other Fund Teams, providing guidance, coaching, and training.
Tyler joined Ultimus LeverPoint in May 2012 as a Staff Accountant, to which his role grew as the company evolved.
Tyler received both his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, as well as his Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Albany, SUNY. Tyler is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.

As a Manager of a Fund Team at Ultimus LeverPoint, Ying is responsible for providing reporting services to private equity funds, and also maintains the day-to-day operations for each of her clients. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 16 years in Private Equity.
Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Ying served as Vice President at Citi Private Equity Services for more than eight years, leading multiple client engagements involving direct funds and Fund of Funds. Prior to Citi, she spent two years as a Private Equity System Consultant at Vitech System Group. There, her primary responsibility was to provide business guidance to system development and new client onboarding for Equitrak, a leading private equity software system. Ying’s private equity career started at Columbia University Endowment Fund. She was the Director of Investment Operations, leading the accounting and operations of the endowment’s Private Equity portfolio.
Ying holds a Master’s degree from Columbia Business School.

Ryan received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys cooking, cycling, wine and spending time with his girlfriend and dog.

Peter Mazeika, CPA

As Fund Team Manager, Peter is responsible for providing reporting services to Private Equity Funds and works on day-to-day operations for our clients. Peter joined Ultimus LeverPoint in June 2018.
Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Peter was Director of Finance at Excel Corporation. Earlier in his career, Peter worked for Deloitte and Touche, LLP and Goldman Sachs with a focus on Private Equity, Debt and Real Estate Funds.
Peter is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Accounting and Information Management from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Peter lives in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife and three children. In his free time Peter enjoys outdoor activities with his family, fishing and upland game hunting with his English Setter.

Marina Migliore

As a Manager, Marina is responsible for providing reporting services to Ultimus LeverPoint’s Management Company clients, as well as working on the day-to-day operations for our clients.
Marina joined Ultimus LeverPoint in August 2020, bringing with her 12 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Marina was the Chief Financial Officer for Tully Rinckey. Her experience spans client facing roles in forensic accounting & auditing and financial management with private organizations.
Marina received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Siena College, her Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy from the State University of New York at Albany, holds a New York State Certified Public Accounting License, and is an Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) designated Certified Fraud Examiner.
Outside the office, Marina enjoys nature, reading, and spending time with her family.

Leonard Morgese

Lenny joined LeverPoint in October 2015, bringing with HIM 5 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining LeverPoint, Lenny worked at KPMG where HE provided assurance services to investment companies. Prior to that Lenny worked at Rothstein Kass as an audit associate.
Lenny received HIS Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and MBA from LeMoyne College. Lenny is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
Outside the office, Lenny enjoys fishing, sports, seeing live music, and spending time with his family.

As the Manager of Talent Acquisition, Jessica is responsible for managing the recruitment team, managing all processes for recruitment, and staffing for each of the Ultimus LeverPoint locations.
Jessica joined LeverPoint in May of 2018 bringing with her 8 years of full cycle recruiting experience. Prior to joining LeverPoint, Jessica worked at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company where she was responsible for the recruitment of the specialty groups within Ayco and also their Summer Internship Program.
Jessica received her Bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2010 and her Master ‘s Degree in Adolescent Education from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2011. Jessica is also a member of NACE, the National Associate of Colleges & Employers.
Outside the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, her summer vacations to Cape Cod, the New England Patriots, and Syracuse Orange.

Prior to joining LeverPoint, Michael worked at Apollo Global Management for five years as an Assistant Controller in the Private Equity and Credit group. He started his career as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided audit and assurance services to several clients.
Michael received both his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Connecticut; Michael is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.

Nick has experience in many areas of Private Equity, specifically with Real Estate Funds. In addition, Nick also has experience with Co-Investment Vehicles, and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) structures.
Nick received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Siena College.
Outside of the office, Nick loves to be adventurous while traveling to foreign countries, spending time with his family, his two extra-large Newfoundland dogs, and is an avid fan of the New York Yankees and North Carolina Tar Heels basketball.

Prior to joining LeverPoint, Bridget was the Chief Financial Officer for Bonacio Construction, and has many years of accounting management, analytics, reporting, and client interaction experience from her years in public accounting and Chief Financial Officer roles held.
Bridget received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ithaca College, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Becky joined Ultimus LeverPoint in May 2016, bringing with her 20 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Becky worked at Citi Fund Services where she provided middle office and treasurer services. Becky has also provided compliance and operational services for Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc., First Quadrant, and Trust Company of the West.
Becky received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Michigan University and her Master’s in business administration from Eastern Michigan University. Becky is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Ohio and a Series 99 Operations Professional.

As Director, Doug is responsible for managing Ultimus LeverPoint’s Tax Services Team. He joined the firm in 2008 bringing with him over 16 years of tax experience. Doug is also responsible for Ultimus LeverPoint’s FATCA services, and works closely with the Senior Vice President and Fund Team Directors to build new and existing client relationships.
Prior to joining Ultimus LeverPoint, Doug’s experience includes having at Ernst and Young in their real estate group and Boston Financial Investment Management (formerly MMA Financial), a low income housing tax credit syndicator, in their tax department. Doug earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fordham University, and is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
In his free time, Doug enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and playing basketball.

Angela joined Ultimus LeverPoint in pril 2014, bringing with her 14 years of accounting experience. Angela began her career in auditing at Arthur Andersen LLP and subsequently Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving a variety of banking, finance and investment management clients. Prior to joining Utimus LeverPoint, Angela worked at Z Capital Partners LLC where she was Fund Controller to all of Z Capital’s managed funds which included private equity, credit and leveraged hedge funds.
Angela received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Augustana College. She is also a certified public accountant, licensed in Illinois.

As the Manager of the Investor Services team, Manda oversees the team as well as all Investor Correspondence at Ultimus LeverPoint. She has worked at Ultimus LeverPoint since its inception; Manda was part of the preexisting team that was spun out of The Ayco Company L.P., a Goldman Sachs subsidiary. Manda has worked in the Fund Administration business for 14 years, beginning her career as an Administrative Assistant, to which her role grew as the company evolved. Manda is currently responsible for the Investor Services team, which is a critical component within the overall Ultimus LeverPoint team.
Manda holds an AAS degree in Executive Administrative from Schenectady County Community College and is currently attending SUNY Empire State College for her Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Paul received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
